Abstract

SUMMARY This article took the Iranian Revolution as a reference point and tried to explain how the revolution shaped Iranian politics.
One of the main arguments of this study is that the Iranian Revolution led to the formation of a Shiite bloc against Sunni Arabs in the Middle East.
However, the Iranian Revolution brought a Shiite identity to the fore in the Middle East.
In this context, Iranian politics will be analyzed in terms of the Revolution. Keywords: Iran, Shiism, Shia axis, Middle East.
